Position Summary:

The Director, Deliver Excellence holds a critical and strategic role within the organization, being the custodian and ensuring the health of the Johnson & Johnson Deliver Excellence portion of the JJ Production System (JJPS). This position involves developing and implementing updates to the Deliver Excellence program, providing the sectors with an impartial assessment of maturity, leading a team of subject matter experts, and coordination of the enterprise JJPS/OS improvement program. The Director collaborates with stakeholders and Senior Leaders focusing on Production System enablement to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

The Director, Deliver Excellence is accountable for:

  • Assist in building a clear and compelling vision, strategy and deliverables for the Deliver Excellence organization that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Leadership in the evolution of JJPS/OS operating principles and standards including maturity models, performance management & metrics, and process maps/roadmaps.

  • Supporting process improvement initiatives and cross functional efforts that enable advanced capabilities at an accelerated pace. Deliver value realization through test and learns and scaling of solutions backed by performance metrics and insights.

  • Provide sectors with insights and establish an improvement plan where the business need is greatest.

  • Support the development of the JJPS/OS continuous improvement culture through training and development.

  • Collaboration with Supply Chain Operating System teams to ensure a synchronised and coordinated portfolio is established that drives holistic E2E value for Johnson & Johnson.

Qualifications

Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s or equivalent University degree is required with a focus in Computer Science / Supply Chain Management / Business Management / Quality & Compliance preferred.

Required:

  • A minimum 8 years of relevant work experience

  • A minimum 5 years of People Management Experience

  • Supply Chain experience with demonstrated ability to lead E2E global operations.

  • Experience in Pharmaceutical or MedTech industries.

  • Experience leading and implementing transformational change, as well as being able to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience working and leading within a global environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to turn vision into strategies and a successful track record of gaining support to implement those strategies.

  • Experience leading external partnerships and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in a manufacturing plants that uses automation and lean practices

  • Experience leading diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to lead a team and operate as a part of team

  • Track record of building successful global teams, attracting and developing superior talent, motivating them through challenging circumstances and provide guidance & coaching as needed.

  • Project Management experience.

  • Strong organization & prioritization skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.

Other:

  • This position requires up to 40% domestic & international travel.

  • This position has an estimated annual salary of 142,000- 284,000 USD$

    • Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
  • Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

  • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
