Description Robert Half is searching for an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk eager to contribute their skill set to the expansion of a dynamic company. You will be responsible for entering, posting, and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging report, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining a cash receipting journal, and updating, and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. This rapidly growing team needs a self-starter to join the accounting team! You will process full-cycle AP and handle a large number of invoices per week, with high attention to detail. • Handle monthly closings and annual reports, including processing payments and compiling segments in compliance with GAAP

• Reply to information requests from stake holders, including shippers, customers, and the sales/marketing department

• Ensure the mission, values, and culture of the organization are supported, conveyed and reinforced

• Carry out general accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures

• Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers

• Correspond with clients to resolve payment issues and set up payment plans

• Ensure accuracy of documents and codes Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field

• Adeptness in EDI

• Cash applications experience

• Command of Electronic Remittance

• Posting Payments experience

• Foundational knowledge in cash posting

• Proficiency in Remittance

• 3+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

• High attention to detail

• Strong analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

• Efficient in ERP systems
