Ademco, Inc. JOB CODE: ENGENMG10_SMGWork location: 2 Corporate Center Drive, Melville, NY 11747.Lead, develop and motivate a talented engineering team responsible for the development of Resideo's products and services. Leverage technical experience and skills to guide the team in the investigation and solution of challenging technical problems. Identify, analyze and implement process improvements to improve project execution and efficiency. Use leadership abilities to motivate and energize teams that are designing new or modifying existing products, parts, or processes while using advanced standards, methodologies, and tools. Balance team workloads and drive exceptional team performance with high impact for the business by collaborating with customers and broader engineering teams. Responsible to influence and challenge engineering teams to effectively solve complex engineering problems and accelerate innovation and growth while leading a team of talented engineers. Partner with customers and broader engineering teams to ensure the resources and skills needed to drive business growth.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related field. Eight (8) years of progressive experience in leading and managing globally diverse teams, including Eight (8) years of progressive experience in: Quality Management Systems, Process Audits, Six Sigma, Lean Principles or a combination thereof.Employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related field and Five (5) years of experience in leading and managing globally diverse teams, including Five (5) of experience in: Quality Management Systems, Process Audits, Six Sigma, Lean Principles, or a combination thereof, in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and eight (8) years of progressive experience as described above.Academic background or work experience to include: Lean Principles, Six Sigma Tools, such as VSM or QFDs; Training team members on CMMI and how to apply Lean Methodologies; Software Development life-cycle models; Process performance baselines and process capability baselines; CMMI, ISO 9001:2000; experience in NPI processes and associated tools; and experience using project management tools, such as Accolade. Approximately 15% domestic and 5% international travel required to unanticipated sites to review development process and institutionalize best practices in process and tools usage. Travel expenses paid by employer.Wage range: $ 207,397/yr. to $288,910 /yr. (base pay)Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
