Our client is seeking an RN, Clinical Coordinator to Join their dedicated team at their state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center, where they prioritize patient safety, quality care, and efficient clinical operations. They are seeking a passionate and experienced RN, Clinical Care Coordinator to lead their nursing team and ensure the highest standards of care in all clinical areas of our facility.

As the Clinical Care Coordinator, you will supervise and direct nursing care in the Pre-Op, OR, and PACU units, ensuring adherence to our facility's policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives. This management role requires close collaboration with the Administrator to coordinate daily care and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards. You will be pivotal in representing our healthcare delivery team and supporting effective patient care delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct nursing care in Pre-Op, OR, and PACU units.

  • Coordinate daily care in collaboration with the Administrator.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, applicable laws, and standards.

  • Maintain professional and positive communication in all interactions.

  • Represent the healthcare delivery team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

  • Implement and maintain infection control policies and procedures.

  • Conduct surveillance activities and educate staff and patients on infection control practices.

  • Oversee the Quality Assessment Performance Improvement Program (QAPI).

  • Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).

  • Active RN license in New York state.

  • BLS/ACLS/PALS Certification.

  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with progressive leadership in an acute care hospital or ambulatory surgery center.

  • Healthcare management experience.

  • Strong ethical and moral character references.

  • Evidence of leadership qualities.

  • Demonstrated understanding of Quality Improvement Processes.

  • Knowledge of operating room standards and multi-specialty experience.

The salary range for this position is $140,000-$150,000/year
