Job Summary
Supervise a team of lenders. Coach, counsel and motivate employee performance. Individual must possess extensive and well-rounded commercial banking experience covering all tiers of complex capital structures. Show outstanding leadership skills and ability to build a consensus. Monitor credit quality of a diverse loan portfolio.

Pay Range: $154, 700.00 - $233, 700.00 - $312, 700.00

Job Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Manage and train direct reports with a focus on financial and credit analysis as well as enhancing their writing skills.
  • Work with direct reports, their assigned Private Client Groups, and the Bank's clients and prospects to assess loan requests.
  • Approve credit requests for credits within assigned credit authority; prepares transaction summaries and recommends requests that exceed credit authority to Director of C & I Lending or CLO for approval.
  • Notify Director of C & I Lending of any credit quality issues within portfolio. Consult with Director of C & I Lending, CCO, CLO and Special Asset Manager on criticized loans.
  • Work closely with direct reports to ensure loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy and comply with approval.
  • Manage team workflow to obtain operating efficiency


Requirements include:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Master's degree or equivalent preferred, and 5 years' related experience, or combination of education and experience.
  • Experience analyzing financial statements, tax returns, cash flow analysis, financial ratios
  • Must be able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Ability to gain consensus among colleagues and clients
  • Must possess high ethical standards with demonstrated integrity, tact and diplomacy.
  • Formal credit training highly preferred.
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior staff.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, and Salesforce preferred.
