FlexStaff is hiring for one of our clients. The hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Pre-Op experience and PACU experience highly desired!

Responsibilities:

*Conducts patient phone interviews and documents basic medical history

• Calls doctor offices to track down patient medical clearances, EKGs, blood work, and all other necessary pre-surgical testing and documentation

• Answer phones

• Take and record vital signs, weights, and EKG's as needed

• Update and file medical records

• Place orders for necessary medical equipment, supplies for pre-op and recovery units

• Greet patients, escort to pre-op/discharge

• Assemble medical record according to unit standard

• Preparing patients for surgery or for discharge home after surgery

• Stock units with necessary supplies

• Preparing areas for patients in pre-op/recovery

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Computer Proficiency

• High School Diploma or GED required

The salary range for this position is $22-$25/hour
