Applied Ecology Inc. Entry Level Water Resources Engineer in Melbourne, Florida

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related water resources discipline; Graduate degree preferred
  • Experienced in AutoCAD
  • Experience with Civil 3D, MEP/Revit, or other hydraulic modeling platforms
  • EIT certification preferred
  • Internship or applied experience preferred.
  • Must have technical writing and communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and prioritize and execute multiple tasks
  • Accountable for productivity and actions.
  • Detail-oriented, work as part of a team and leadership skills
  • Employer will train
  • Regularly lift, carry, and load field equipment such as sample coolers up to 40 pounds with assistance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite including Word, Outlook, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid U.S. Drivers License and a clean driving record required.
  • Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Background check.

  • Experience with surface water, groundwater, and integrated modeling software
  • Experience with Green Infrastructure, Water Quality, or Coastal Resilience projects
  • Experience with database management tools for data tracking and reporting preferred
  • Experience with GIS editing and data management using ESRI ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online software
