  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum 10 years of experience in wire harness and cabling, specifically processing shielded wire, soldering, and terminating wire harnesses.
  • Certification to IPC/WHMA-A-620, or have a working knowledge of the standard and become certified
  • Instruct and train individuals in the processes of wire harness fabrication
  • Background check for required matters.

**Job Purpose

[[The Electrical Fabrication Supervisor oversees the daily activities of the Electrical Fabrication Department and is involved with the planning, coordination and control of the wire harness manufacturing process.

Oversee and direct daily activities of the Electrical Fabrication department

Supervise and assist in Fabrication, testing, and completion of Electrical Fabrication tasks.

Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback from Fabrication employees

Train and assist in the existing onboarding process of new employees.

Create work instructions for manufacturing and testing wire harness assemblies

Communicate regularly with the Quality Department and Engineering department to ensure product conforms to customer specifications

Work with engineering to reduce costs for new and existing projects
