1st Shift - 5:30am-4:00pm, Four 10 Hour Shifts

3rd Shift - 4:00pm-2:30am, Four 10 Hour Shifts

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair a variety of machines and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial electricity, mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventative maintenance. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all types of machines and equipment, including bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, exhaust fans, electric motors, overhead cranes, and robotics.

• Install machines and equipment, including print reading/schematics, couplings, alignment, rigging, hoisting, start-up, and debugging new equipment.

• Apply hydraulics/pneumatics principles to pumps, valves, cylinders, actuators, lubricants, and coolants.

• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections using visual/audible inspection, vibration analysis, fluid analysis, and diagnostics.

• Operate various machines such as grinders, drill presses, saws, lathes, and milling machines.

• Perform additional work processes to meet business needs, including engineering electrical, machine building, buildings and facilities, furnace repair, general carpentry, overhead doors, HVAC.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years working in maintenance.

• Experience working with industrial electricity (480v and 3 phase motors).

• Experience working with gearboxes, cylinders, valves, motors, and bearings.

• Proficiency in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blueprint reading, and schematic reading.

• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with TIG welding is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, especially during winter months (as cold as 35-38 degrees). Safety is a priority, requiring the use of safety nets, beard nets, and hair nets. Uniforms are provided, including appropriate attire for colder days. Shifts include 1st, 3rd, and Sunday-Thursday with mandatory Saturdays at times. Expect to work up to 48-58 hours a week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $84000.00
