Production Supervisor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe working environment. This role requires strong leadership skills to guide and motivate the production team.

Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including FDA regulations, HACCP, and SQF standards.
• Monitor production processes to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Train and develop production staff on operating machinery, following procedures, and adhering to safety protocols.
• Schedule production tasks, manage inventory levels, and optimize workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics to streamline operations.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food (Produce) industry.
• Knowledge of packaging processes, basic math skills, and familiarity with forklift operations.
• Ability to fabricate equipment or components as needed.
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices in a production setting.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations and quality control standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.

This is a full-time position with competitive compensation based on experience. Paid time off is included in the benefits package. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred for this role.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
