It is currently anticipated that the position will be part-time. The position could potentially increase to full-time. Please see the attached job description. Part-time: Approximately eight, six-week classes per year with 105 hours of instruction. The instructor will also administer certifications for the home health aide on the New York State registry. The candidate must possess the ability to work with students from different socioeconomic and educational backgrounds. The individual must have a current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license. The individual must have a minimum of two years nursing experience, at least one of which must be a licensed home care agency. Must have or be eligible for appropriate teaching certification upon hire. It is anticipated that an individual would qualify for certification with successful completion of fingerprinting and three workshops. Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. The assignment is subject to change. Salary: $35.50 per hour.
