Anticipated initial assignment is Niagara Career & Technical Education Center, Sanborn, NY. Approximately 16 hours per week (four (4) hours per night, four (4) nights per week). The individual will provide instruction to adult students about basic auto mechanics and diagnostics in preparation for New York State Inspectors licensing. The candidate must be able to instruct on safety, suspension, engine fundamentals, cooling systems, scan tool operation, front end alignment, and other facets of the auto industry. Experience with teaching adults is preferred. Comprehensive understanding of auto mechanics, diagnostics and repair is required. A minimum of five (5) years of relevant trade experience is required. The individual should have or be eligible for certification upon hire. It is anticipated that an individual will qualify for certification with successful completion of fingerprinting and three workshops. Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. The assignment is subject to change. Anticipated Salary: $34.00 - $35.00 per hour.
