Retirement Savings Plan Elwyn is seeking a Professional Development Specialist, ABH (Adult Behavioral Health), to collaborate with the Senior Director of Professional Development, ABH, other ABH leaders and team members to meet the learning & development needs of EABHS (Elwyn Adult Behavioral Health Services) staff across multiple states. The Professional Development Specialist develops content, delivers didactic training, administers, scores, and evaluates various forms of assessment to measure competency and application, engages in direct observation of staff, and provides on the job training and feedback. The focus is on the transfer of skills to clinical & direct support staff to increase confidence and competence within the context of a culture of ongoing evolution and change. The Professional Development Specialist for ABH will play a key role in the facilitation of Orientation, Annual & programmatic specific training & development activities for which knowledge of and experience with adult behavioral health service provision is critical. Key responsibilities include delivering, documenting, and tracking synchronous & asynchronous training sessions, use of Learning Management System (LMS), content creation & updates as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Embrace Elwyn Core Values and contribute to the organizational landscape in a positive, authentic and collaborative manner Maintain working knowledge of organizational, local, state and accreditation requirements Support Senior Director of Professional Development, ABH to successfully launch ABH Staff Orientation Program Facilitate Welcome Day, Orientation, and Annual training sessions as needed Participate in Relias Super User Network and acts as primary liaison between RSU network and Senior Director of Professional Development, ABH Develop SME in PRISM Model and leads ABH wide training and development initiative to establish confidence and competence with model Deliver high-quality professional development content in accordance with the regulations, as well as current research on best practice in the field of ABH to ensure the confidence and competence of ABH staff Contribute to the development of core curricula, elective content, and assess staff outcomes Equip EABHS staff with knowledge related to evidence-based interventions Represent ABH PD team in organizational meetings and initiatives as needed Support licensing surveys and monitoring visits in cooperation with Quality Improvement (QI) staff and other key leaders Champion the importance of increasing and maintaining compliance, confidence and competence among EABHS staff Ensure the accuracy of electronic docume tation, tracking, and reporting of staff training to ensure compliance Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, education, or equivalent experience 2-3 years of experience working in Adult Behavioral Health Services Subject matter expertise in ABH in one of the following key roles: clinical, direct care, operations Proven experience in content creation & facilitation skills Familiarity with Relias learning Management Systems (LMS) Demonstrated intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Access, Publisher and report-writer experience A passion for continuous learning, a commitment to staff development, and the willingness to remain teachable Demonstrated ability to work effectively on independent projects and as part of a team, with the ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines simultaneously Critical & creative thinking skills The ability to incorporate coaching, colleague and supervisory feedback into results oriented behavioral change Excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, and written and verbal communication PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL PROFILE: See Physical Demands Checklist below which represents the general physical demands and environment conditions to which the employee holding this position must meet, in addition to the duties and responsibilities listed above, to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
