Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our clients team in Mechanicville, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract setup, billing customers, and communicating with customers. This role involves verifying invoices, ensuring timely payments, and collaborating with project managers to expedite payments when necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

Contract Setup - Setting up contracts in the system to ensure accurate billing and tracking.

Billing Customers - Generating and sending invoices to customers.

Communicating with Customers - Contacting customers to verify invoice receipt and payment status.

Collections (Front End) - Following up with customers on invoice status, ensuring invoices are in their queue for payment.

Verification Process - Collaborating with project managers for further follow-up on outstanding payments.

Expediting Payments - Taking necessary steps to expedite payments, including halting work if required, to ensure timely payments.

• Sage 300 - Timberline Experience (ideal, though not required.)

• Strong Excel Skills

• Organized & Reliable: Ability to quickly pick up tasks, be organized, and reliable.

• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for making calls and interacting with clients and vendors.
