Mease Countryside Hospital is currently seeking our newest Pharmacist Technician . Today, our 387-bed facility offers an unwavering commitment to the community. Nationally recognized for its clinical excellence, our award-winning facility features multiple Centers of Excellence, including women and children's services, heart, cancer, neurosciences and orthopedics. Mease Countryside Hospital is dedicated to providing compassionate, quality health care to improve the health of our community.

Position Details :

• Facility: Mease Countryside Hospital

• Location: Safety Harbor, FL

• Status: Full Time, hourly

• Shift Hours: Overnights

• Weekend Work: Every Other

• On Call: No

Pharmacy Technician I , under the immediate oversight of the Pharmacist, responsibilities include:

• Support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department

• Efficient, accurate and timely preparation, compounding, labeling, and delivering of pharmaceuticals to assure customer satisfaction

• Required Registration: Florida Department of Health Pharmacy Technician Registry or enrolled into a BayCare hospital with a Florida Board of Pharmacy Licensed Training Program for the Employer Based Registered Pharmacy Technician Training Program

• Preferred experience is 1-year Institutional practice or equivalent as determined by the hiring manager.

• Required specific skills may also include successfully passing Pharmaceutical Calculations exam.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent GED

• Required FL Registered Pharmacy Technician License

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
