Job Title: Quality Control Inspector III

Job Description

Conduct examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, components, and parts at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, and components on all types of standard and special products to ensure alignment with product requirements and quality standards.

  • Provide detailed analysis, troubleshooting, and evaluation of components, assemblies, and systems.

  • Maintain documentation records and data on tests performed.

  • Recommend quality control solutions to complex problems and implement corrective actions.

  • Set up or build special test panels to facilitate testing and/or evaluation as needed.

  • Perform internal audits based on established criteria and record the results.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedules, and additional hours as necessary.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to follow detailed job instructions.

  • Skilled at measuring and using test equipment as prescribed by job procedures.

  • Ability to apply a systematic Quality Assurance approach while using existing procedures to solve standard problems.

  • Proficient computer skills.

  • Capable of identifying and independently resolving routine issues.

  • Attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with in-process inspection.

  • Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools.

  • Knowledge of silicone, rubber, and extrusion processes.

Work Environment

Working in a manufacturing setting, you will be standing for the entire shift. Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. You may need to work nights and weekends, with variable schedules and additional hours as necessary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of McMinnville, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.98 - $24.25
