Description

We are looking for a remote User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team. This role involves using technology to solve problems and enhance user experience on our travel websites. You will be expected to act as a subject matter expert on consumer behavior, and lead the design process by developing user-centered designs, interpreting user feedback, and collaborating with other teams.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the 'Voice of the Customer' throughout the organization, ensuring the consumer's perspective is heard in decision-making processes.

• Collaborate with UX researchers to identify user needs and understand how users consume and navigate content.

• Interpret data and qualitative feedback into actionable steps.

• Develop user-centered designs, taking into consideration customer feedback, user research, technical constraints or opportunities, and business needs.

• Collaborate with UI designers to implement attractive designs, and communicate design ideas and prototypes to various audiences.

• Ensure coherence and consistency of features and functions across the overall journey.

• Contribute to the product strategy and roadmap, facilitating workshops, journey mapping, and problem-statement discussions.

• Collaborate with pod team members and business stakeholders to develop an understanding of user personas.

• Stay updated on competitor products and industry trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience in User Experience (UX) Design

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Demonstrable ability to conduct user research and competitor analysis

• Experience in creating and testing UX prototypes

• Strong knowledge of web app and website design

• Expertise in UX practices and optimization

• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

• Skills in digital design and innovation

• Proficiency in UI patterns and design

• Strong analytical skills and decision-making abilities

• Experience in component selection for web design

• Willingness to travel as required

• Customer service skills

• Demonstrated ability to be a subject matter expert in UX design.
