Steampunk Salesforce Technical Architect in McLean, Virginia
Overview
As a Steampunk Salesforce Technical Architect , you willbe responsible forcrafting and executing innovative solutions that push the boundaries of what is possible using the Salesforce platform. Our Architects welcome the challenge of designing and executing complex programmatic solutions, leading teams of developers, and architecting complex systems with a multitude of integrations and data migrations.
Contributions
Embrace and promote a culture of continuous learning and development by leading internal upcoming release briefings, contributing to internal technology solution reviews, and supporting the creation of a commoncomponentlibrary
Design, develop, test, and deploy high quality Salesforce solutions utilizing SFDC best practices while balancing the unique needs of our clients
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within your teams
Support business customers closely with support and remediation for bugs/outages
Write deployment scripts in bash that orchestrate complex multi-step deployments
Code in Apex and LWC, and design programmatic solutions that utilize both
Manage a team of developers, technical leads, integrations developers, and data architects; providing solution design input on their work, reviewing their pull requests, and keeping them unblocked
Architect multi-cloud solutions in Salesforce, AWS, and MuleSoft
Collaborate with business analysts and technical developers to bridge the gap between functional requirements and product delivery
Build meaningful relationships with clients to enable the delivery of innovative and high-quality Salesforce solutions
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in a subject relevant to architecture or software engineering
8+ years of experiencewith Salesforce, 3 of which should be in a technical architect role
Must have completed at least 1 successful digital transformation, replatforming a legacy system on Salesforce that required a team of 6 or more over a year to complete, replacing multiple data integrations with downstream systems, and migrating millions of rows of data
Eligible to obtain andmaintainand government security clearance
Proficiencywith Salesforce, including but not limited to Apex, LWC, and configuring experience cloud sites and lightning apps
Proficiency with CLIs and bash scripting, including mastery of git and sf CLIs and complex bash commands for injecting variables into metadata
Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quickly

Experience with MuleSoft, Amazon RDS, and Salesforce Connect
Some exposure to OmniStudio Public Sector Solutions
Knowledge and experience with Agile andDevSecOpsmethodologies
Masters Degree in Computer Science or in a subject relevant to architecture or software engineering, or 12+ years of experience

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $175,000 to $220,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
