Hilton Manager Planning & Business Operations in McLean, Virginia

This is your chance to be part of the next-generation Strategy, Insights, and Analytics team of internal consultants to all teams across Hilton! The team ensures that Hilton’s strategy and customer experience are informed by analytics and customer insights combining technical talent with industry expertise to guide progress towards Hilton’s goals. As a Manager Planning & Governance, you will support Hilton's Global Brands, Marketing, Digital, Revenue, and Sales organizations, with special support for the executive leadership team. On the Planning & Business Operations team reporting to the Director Planning & Operations, you will support projects including the measurement and progress against the Global Brands & Commercial Services business plan.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Support our Global Brands and Commercial Services (GBCS) organization in achieving the highest priority initiatives, including the execution of leadership team rhythms.
  • Support definition and communication of the annual Global Brands and Commercial Services Business Plan, measuring progress, and identifying risks/accomplishments on a quarterly basis.
  • Help execute our GBCS Team Member Engagement strategy to foster collaboration, recognition, alignment, and access to leaders.
  • Support projects across the Global Brands and Commercial Services organization through planning, coordination, and effective storytelling to internal/external audiences.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Work alongside Planning and Communications leads from Global Brands and Commercial Services to support business operations.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across Global Brands and Commercial Services to evaluate progress on key projects & initiatives.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Manage quarterly progress assessments, implementing efficient processes and providing clear deliverables.
  • Support ongoing business operations to deliver our global engagement programs.
  • Provide project management and organization to ensure the successful execution of cross-functional workstreams.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of work experience in a matrixed corporate environment
  • Three (3) years of project and/or program management, or related experience
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office programs, particularly PowerPoint

It would be useful if you have:

  • Professional work experience in the Hospitality industry
  • Two (2) or more years of experience managing complex projects
