Hilton Manager, Consumer & Commercial Communications in McLean, Virginia

This is your chance to be part of a dynamic and ambitious in-house Communications Team! As a Manager, Consumer & Commercial Communications, you will be protecting and elevating Hilton's reputation, focused on spotlighting the benefits of Hilton Honors in consumer and trade media. Sitting within the Hilton Honors and Enterprise Communications team, you will report to the Director, Hilton Honors Communications.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Serve as media relations expert and project manager during the execution of PR plans aligned with commercial and communications objectives to raise consumer and industry awareness of Hilton Honors.
  • Manage PR agency deliverables and activities.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Drive the implementation of integrated communications plans by collaborating across internal Communications and stakeholder teams.
  • Collaborate with the editorial content team and Marketing social media team to create breakthrough storytelling.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Manage earned media initiatives surrounding Hilton Honors Experiences and Hilton for Business.
  • Build captivating and engaging post-program and year-end results reports.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of work experience in Communications, Public Relations, Media Relations or Journalism.
  • Travel up to 25% (as applicable).

It would be useful if you have:

  • Understanding of the consumer loyalty programs, like Hilton Honors.
  • Experience working at a PR agency.
