Steampunk is seeking a Lead Test Engineer who will provide testing and QA expertise in mission critical work across our client base.

Contributions

As a Test Engineer ing Manager , you willdeliverquality assurance services to support application,cloudand data systems development. Responsibilities include:

• Responsible forleadingthe overall testing effort and deliverables,workwith testing team to ensure that testing is on time andof the highest quality. 

• Test planning activities and estimation, test scope definition with the use of risk-basedtesting.

• Implement governance and reporting processes.

• Implement standard processes,methodologiesand tools.

• Ensure that the team follows the testing standards, guidelines, and testingmethodologyas specified in the test strategy.

• Perform all testmanagement activities;resource management,monitorand control,risksand issuesmanagement.

• Manage test environment, test data preparation, test tools and test automation implementation.

• Work with the application and technical architecture teams to plan various test phases.

• Review test to ensure that they meet the entry and exit criteria.

• Define andfacilitateformal sign-off process and procedures for testing deliverables.

• Primary contact and escalation point for testing.

Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance.

• Bachelor's Degree or above in business computer, Information Technology, Computer Science or any related fields.

• 10+yearsofexperience with quality assurance and test automation practices in anAgileworkenvironment.

• Experience in Software Testing (Manual and/or Automated), System Test, Integration Test, and User Acceptance Test.

• Strong analytical and proven ability to quickly understand complex business and systems and provide a suited solution for clients.

• Excellent command of English both written and spoken.

Preferred:

• Certifications:

• CAST (Certified Associate in Software Testing)

• International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification

• Certified Manager of Software Testing (CMST)

• Experience in designing and developing automated frameworks

• Experience in building monitoring systems or improving testing effectiveness

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $175,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
