WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

  • Required Experience : 15+ years

  • Required Technical Skills:

  • Work closely with Sponsor and PM to gather requirements and contribute to the development of network-related features.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions including Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, and Monitoring.

  • Demonstrated experience working across multi-cloud network environments.

  • Apply your solid foundation of cloud networking using VNET, VPC, VPNs, firewalls, routing tables, ExpressRoutes, Direct Connects, networking protocols, and peering.

  • Demonstrated experience with traffic engineering (AWS - VPC, transit gateway, CloudWatch and ELB) and (Azure - VNET, VPN gateway, Firewall, and Front Door).

  • Have an understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, firewall configurations, and network security groups.

  • Participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery planning, and security audits.

  • Create detailed documentation of network designs and configurations.

  • Continuously monitor and analyze network performance metrics.

  • Stay abreast on latest cloud services, features, trends, and best practices and provide recommendations on their adoption.

  • Demonstrated experience with A&A workflows and tools.

  • Demonstrated experience with Sponsor's security requirements and systems.

  • Demonstrated experience monitoring system performance and recommending corrective action.

  • Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • Location: McLean, VA on customer site.

The likely salary range for this position is $175,845 - $237,908. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
