Raytheon Team has an excellent opportunity for a Production Control Manager, leading a demand planning at the Advanced Products Center. This position will provide direct leadership to a team of demand planners and report to the Production Control Associate Director. A successful candidate will operate in multiple shop floor control and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems to ensure alignment between material position, factory requirements and customer requirements. This role will work closely with the factory operations teams to ensure factory/program execution. In this role the ownership and use of metrics will be key to maintain system health and drive the level of performance that will support customer expectations.

What You Will Do

  • Leading a team of demand controllers in planning and supporting the factories

  • Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements

  • Providing status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed

  • Working daily to confirm material supply and demands

  • Lead process improvement activities and cost reduction initiatives

  • Conducting / supporting periodic physical inventory cycle counts and inventory reconciliation

  • Lead regular commitment/planning meetings to establish regular production goals

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years’ experience.

  • Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Supervisory or managerial experience

  • Previous experience in Production and Planning Control fundamentals including MRP, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, and Lean Manufacturing

  • Experience working with Tableau, Kinaxis, Business Warehouse or PowerBI

  • Experience with SAP

  • Experience with Lean and 6 Sigma concepts to improve departmental, factory related, and cross-departmental processes

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
