Job Title: Night Maintenance Lead

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Night Maintenance Lead with strong experience in maintenance technology, particularly within the plastics industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of maintenance technician experience, with expertise in repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance (PMs). Experience in blown film is highly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of two maintenance technicians during the night shift.

• Perform both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, including PLCs.

• Repair and maintain equipment used in the production of plastic packaging bags.

• Collaborate with the night production supervisor and report to the Maintenance Manager on the first shift.

• Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 10 years of maintenance technician experience.

• Experience in the plastics industry, with blown film experience preferred.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Proficiency in PLCs.

• Ability to supervise and lead a team.

• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.

Work Environment

Work in a new, climate-controlled facility with a set Monday to Friday schedule. Training will be provided during the first shift for a few weeks. The normal shift operates on 12-hour shifts, 2-3 days alternating, but the lead role follows a consistent Monday to Friday schedule.

This is a Permanent position based out of McKinney, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
