SRS Distribution Inc is hiring an Accounts Payable Finance Specialist who will be responsible for researching all payment issues and statements within our database. The Specialist will focus on maintaining payment information, resolving help desk tickets for payment issues and issuing payments. The Specialist will review and audit payment issues for accuracy and resolution. The Specialist should be comfortable communicating to various stakeholders, suppliers, branches, and management to ensure items are actioned properly and timely. Duties may also include research, adhering to policies and provide feedback as necessary, as well as other Accounts Payable tasks assigned.

Essential Job Functions

• Summarize and process transactions for posting to Account Payable module within appropriate electronic information systems.

• Review vouchers and other financial documents for sufficiency of documentation, accuracy, and completeness.

• Match check copies with supporting documentation and file.

• Submit electronic check issuance files to financial institutions.

• Disburse checks for Accounts Payable

• Payment(s) research and ticket set up to our third party service provider

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1- 4 years of relevant work experience in Accounts Payable and various payment functions.

• Experience working with large data sets

• High capacity for strategic thought and ability to execute on initiatives

• Excellent written and oral communication and research skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office products, especially Excel

• Personable, Organized, & Attention to Detail are all traits that are a must

• Must be a self-starter
