CNC Machinist

Summary:

Plastic injection molding Tool shop, looking to hire a CNC machinist. Looking for a self-motivated employee to join our team of skilled CNC Machinist and Tool Makers. Opportunity for growth within the company by cross training in various departments such as lathe, mill, EDM and welding. Will offer schooling for continuing education.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as Blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Responsible for the safe and effective operation of equipment to produce quality high tolerance product in specifications in a timely manner
• Ability to prioritize, and organize in a self-directed shop environment
• 40 Hour work week with overtime opportunities based on workload

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Shop math & Computer skills
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment (Micrometers, calipers)
• Setup and operate CNC Lathe/Mill experience
• Currently enrolled in CNC Classes a plus
• SolidWorks or Mastercam experience a plus
• 1-2 years of experience in a tool shop a plus
