Market Research Analyst of Marketing Department in

- Conduct regular market research to monitor industry trends, track economic conditions, and identify opportunities or threats within the steel industry;
- Analyze competitors' pricing strategies, marketing tactics, and positioning to provide actionable insights for improving the company's competitive edge;
- Perform market sizing and demand forecasting using statistical methods and historical data to predict future trends in production, sales, and export demand;
- Utilize statistical tools and forecasting models to predict demand for various steel products, assisting in production planning, procurement, and inventory management;
- Conduct price sensitivity analysis and develop pricing strategies based on market conditions, competitor pricing, and customer demand;
- Provide data-driven insights into customer preferences, sales trends, and regional demand variations, aiding in the development of sales strategies;
- Conduct customer segmentation analysis to better understand purchasing behavior, preferences, and demographic characteristics, enabling targeted marketing campaigns;
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer satisfaction, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and retention rates to ensure alignment with customer needs and business objectives;
- Support production scheduling and procurement planning by analyzing market trends, customer demand, and supplier performance;
- Ensure effective communication of research insights to cross-functional teams, supporting business strategy and decision-making;
- Provide strategic recommendations based on market research, including identifying new product opportunities, pricing strategies, and market expansion areas;
- Contribute to the company's long-term strategic planning by offering insights on customer needs, market conditions, and competitive forces;
- Develop detailed market research reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, summarizing key insights on market trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs; and
- Create compelling and data-driven content, including brochures, presentations, and reports, to communicate market research findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in
Management, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or other closely related field of study
;
- Experience in market research analyst;
- Knowledge of economics, business analytics, and market research techniques; and
- Technical and analytical skills.
