job summary:

As a Sit-Down Forklift Operator, your role is essential to maintaining the flow of materials in the facility. Your key responsibilities include: Follow Production Schedules: Review the daily production schedule or shipping orders to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and plan material transport efficiently. Transport Materials Safely: Move materials and equipment to and from designated areas with accuracy and care, ensuring safe operation of the forklift at all times. Load and Unload Goods: Accurately load and unload materials from trucks, checking all items against orders to confirm correct quantities and conditions. Supply Production Lines: Keep production lines stocked with materials as needed to avoid any interruptions or downtime in the production process.

location: McCalla, AL

salary: $19/hr

work hours: 6:00PM to 6:00AM

qualifications:

• up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.

dress code:

• You are expected to present a clean, neat, and tasteful appearance. A 100% cotton solid-colored t-shirt(navy blue preferable) must be worn.

• Shoes must be steel-toed.

• Short or Long Sleeve 100% cotton shirts are required.

• Work pants and plain blue jeans are required. No holes, rips, or tears.

• No yoga pants or any spandex/leggings are not allowed.

• No dangling jewelry such as large earrings or necklaces.

• No clothing expressing suggestive, offensive language or graphics of any nature.

• Offensive body odor and poor personal hygiene is not professionally acceptable.

• If your personal appearance is inappropriate, you will be asked to leave the workplace until you are properly dressed.
