Under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients reach their destinations efficiently while maintaining accurate records of all transportation activities. This position requires a dedication to professionalism, customer service, and adherence to organizational policies and regulations. Shift: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat and Sunday 8:30am - 5:00pm Primary Responsibilities: Report to work punctually, well-groomed, and in a clean, pressed uniform each day.Review daily agenda of pre-scheduled calls and plan routes accordingly.Transport patients to their destinations according to the established schedule.Maintain a calm, pleasant, and courteous attitude towards patients and allied health personnel.Promptly report any issues or delays to dispatch.Utilize Loyola Medicine Transport two-way radio in a professional manner at all times.Ensure the designated vehicle is clean inside and out, washing daily at the end of shift.Complete Loyola Medicine Transport check out list daily before driving.Prepare and complete all necessary logs, questionnaires, and bills in a neat and timely manner.Maintain confidentiality of all employee, corporate, and patient records in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations, including the Bloodborne Pathogen Plan.Fulfill any additional responsibilities as assigned. Key Qualifications: Demonstrated excellence in customer service skills.Adherence to departmental customer service, service excellence, and performance standards.Personal commitment to the organization's core values and involvement in the performance improvement process.Practice safe work practices and attitudes, including adherence to safety rules and participation in safety programs. Position Requirements: Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent.Ability to read maps and a good knowledge of Chicagoland area.CPR preferred or must complete an adult CPR class within six months of employment. Contact with Others: Excellent ability to communicate with allied health personnel. Analytical Demands: Problem-solving skills necessary to be able to prioritize assignments and make decisions accordingly relating to assignment.Clean motor vehicle record Working Conditions: Physical Effort: Physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds. Climbing stairs, pushing, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching when needed.
