Job Purpose The Sr. Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing existing customer relationships as well as the identification and development of business with new customers. This role will support the sales of Dana products within the light vehicle traditional aftermarket channel. Job Duties and Responsibilities Execution of strategy for Light Vehicle aftermarket products that results in growth with assigned customers. Closely monitors achievement of KPI's, such as AOP attainment and personal and team goals and reacts to correct any shortfalls in meeting goals. Evaluates assigned territory and identifies needs and opportunities for increased distribution. Using category management tools, identifies customer opportunities, and collaborates with customers to adopt and execute on them for mutual growth. Maintain current knowledge of competitor activities and changes in market and develops plans to exploit opportunities and defend risks. Represent voice-of-the-customer internally and identify opportunities to improve the Dana customer experience and initiates activity with team members to execute on plans. Executes on marketing or new product launches as needed. Performs quarterly business reviews with key customers. Works closely with cross-functional Dana aftermarket teams including customer operations, pricing, product management and content teams to ensure maximum customer service levels. Represents Dana aftermarket with LV program groups as needed. Performs all other duties as assigned. Education and Qualifications EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 7+years' experience preferred in aftermarket sales, Marketing and Product Management a Plus. Education minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time with the ability to work non-traditional business hours as needed. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Must be well organized and able to operate independently with minimal guidance or scheduling. Must prioritize time bases on opportunity size/return. Ability to work successfully in a matrix environment. Must be effective in a team environment. Must be able to demonstrate strong sales and negotiation skills. Ability to maintain high commitment to customer service while executing multiple project priorities. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills Proficient technical skills Microsoft Office; PowerPoint, Excel, CRM systems Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills Proven critical thinking skills with the ability to collaborate with people in pressure situations.
