Landscape Laborer - 4 fulltime, temporary, seasonal (H-2B) jobs available 3/1/2025 - 12/01/2025.

Employer: Roots Etc Inc, 485 West Mill Road, Mattituck NY 11952. Multiple worksites in Suffolk County.

Duties: MOWING OF LAWNS, TRIMMING OF SHRUBS, WEEDING, MULCHING, SPREADING OF TOPSOIL, TREE & SHRUB PLANTINGS, IRRIGATION WORK INCLUDES INSTALLING IRRIGATION LINES USING SHOVELS, PICKS AND REPAIRING BROKEN SPRINKLER HEADS. SPRING CLEANUPS INCLUDES REMOVAL OF LEAVES, STICKS USING BLOWERS AND RAKES, AND THATCHING, FALL CLEANUPS INCLUDES REMOVAL OF LEAVES & STICKS.USE OF RIDE ON MOWERS, TRIMMERS, BLOWERS, SHRUB TRIMMERS, WEEDWACKERS.

EMPLOYER WILL TRANSPORT WORKERS TO AND FROM EACH JOB LOCATION in Suffolk county, from designated pickup: 485 West Mill Road, Mattituck NY 11952.

No education required, no experience required.

Work days: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, 40 hours/week at $21.87-$23.87/hour. Up to 10 hours OT possible at $32.80-$35.80/hour when available.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

Work tools, supplies and equipment will be provided at no cost to worker.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
