Summary
This position is responsible for supervising a team facilitating the company's QMS (Quality Management System) and EMS (Environmental Management System), along with the administration of the electronic records management system and other records management activities.
Responsibilities
Supervise Corporate Document Control team.
Serve as lead quality and environmental internal auditor, coordinate internal audit activities, perform audits, and lead audit teams.
Set internal audit schedule based on risk-based thinking, and ensure audits are performed following IATF-16949 and ISO-14001 requirements.
Facilitate third-party audits of the IATF-16949 and ISO-14001 standards as lead customer contact. Provide pre-audit documentation, lead audit sessions, lead closure of identified non-conformances.
Facilitate Management Reviews of QMS and EMS targets and KPI’s.
Ensure all aspects of record keeping adhere to current policies including managing disposition, retention, and destruction of records (both paper and electronic).
Train associates on records management procedures and policies, which include documentation, retention, retrieval, destruction, and disaster recovery.
Perform regular audits to gauge the compliance to records management policies and provide reports to communicate results and suggested actions.
Qualifications
Associates Degree and 3 years’ of related experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent in relevant experience.
Certified Lead Auditor through an accredited training program (Or must be able to achieve within 6 months of starting employment).
Problem solving and root cause analysis knowledge. Training in areas such as 5P / 8D / Shainin System methodologies a plus.
Computer literate, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of documentation and internal audit requirements according to IATF-16949, ISO-14001, ISO-50001 standards, and applicable automotive customer and government regulations.
