Location: Mason - Mason, OH, United States (US) Employment Status: Hourly Full-Time Function: Manufacturing Pay Range: ($45,765.00 - $68,648.00) Target Bonus: % Req ID: 25306 Summary of Position The position of Production Lead is considered an entry level position for those who have expressed an interest in and have displayed abilities to lead, supervise, and coordinate the activities of workers as assigned by the area(s) of responsibility to deliver value to internal and external customers. This position requires a high regard for safety at all times in performing any tasks associated with working for Harris Products Group. Key Deliverables * Works safely and supports safety within their team across the organization. * Executes daily production plan in order to have all necessary machines up and running to scheduled plan. * Supports lean initiatives to facilitate team goals/metrics. * Participates in team meetings and works on cost savings projects. Key Accountability Metrics It is very important as the lead to understand each of the metrics, how they impact the department and how you can assist with controlling them. * Safety * 5S Audits * EHS Audits * DART (Days Away Restricted Time) * TRC (Total Recordable Cases) * Quality * Yield Loss / Scrap % * Hold tags/CARS * Productivity * Work Order Completion % * Efficiency * Effectivity * OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) * DOH (Days On Hand) * Breakdown Maintenance Rate Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Include the following and other duties maybe assigned. Works safely and supports safety within their team and across the organization Lead Responsibilities - 50% * Run equipment up to 50% of time or as needed using appropriate measurement equipment to confirm product characteristics. * Track daily time of production personnel * Audit and maintain work instructions * Assign resources to meet scheduled production requirements * Modify and audit work instructions * Know, understand and be able to effectively utilize the various tools of Lean Manufacturing to support and lead the continuous improvement efforts including 5S audits * Ensure Kanban levels are maintained * Make on the spot corrections of any unsafe acts * Participate in employee evaluations * Coach and develop team members * Maintain training levels * Participate in inventory audits / cycle counts * Participate in gemba walks led by operators * Support and enforce all Company policies and proceduresApply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjg3NjIxLjEwNTA4QGxpbmNvbG5lbGVjdHJpY2NvbXAuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t
