Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Mason, Ohio

Description

We are offering a dynamic role for a Human Resources (HR) Manager, located in Mason, Ohio, United States. The candidate will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of human resources, including legal compliance, policy development, personnel file management, onboarding, employee grievances, and staff development.

Responsibilities:

• Stay updated with all Federal and State laws and legal issues influencing the human resource function and provide consultation on all HR matters to management members

• Participate in the evaluation and updating of personnel policies, procedures, and systems to ensure alignment with business objectives and community culture

• Establish and monitor the process for maintaining all personnel files, ensuring confidentiality of such records, and managing the release of information contained within

• Manage the employee intake process including processing applications, interviewing, screening, and new hire orientation

• Act as an advocate for employees and act in a conciliatory role concerning employee grievances

• Develop and implement staff development and staff education programs to ensure compliance with various agencies

• Review all personnel corrective actions and be involved in termination decisions

• Track employee completion of mandatory in-services and notify department heads when employees are out of compliance

• Organize and direct all Employee Recognition programs and events

Skills:

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode and Ceridian

• Knowledge of HRMS and About Time

• Understanding of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Familiarity with Compliance and Employee Relations

• Experience in the healthcare industry is required

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably as an HR Manager

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Familiarity with HRMS, About Time, Ceridian, and other HR-related software

• Ability to handle Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Sound knowledge of Compliance regulations and procedures in HR

• Strong skills in Employee Relations

• Experience in Long Term Care

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills

• Strong understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures

• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant HR software

• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities

• Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

• Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

• In-depth knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

• Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
