What Impact You Will Make The AF TDM will increase surgical ablation penetration to treat Atrial Fibrillation in the concomitant surgical setting via therapy development, awareness and education of the guidelines for and benefits of surgical ablation at all levels of a hospital system, Interventional Cardiology and related spaces. This includes individual clinical staff education and follow up as well as presenting to large groups in a formal setting (e.g. administrative staff meetings, grand rounds, etc). Educate acute/outpatient/referring HCPs as a referral network and implement account-specific programs to improve patient access to care. Develop relationships with administrative hospital personnel to gain knowledge on unique hospital business dynamics and to identify key decision makers and deliver therapy awareness activities, product demonstrations, educational programs, procedural observation, trade show participation and problem resolution. Partner with the Cardiac Surgery, Professional Education, and Marketing teams to identify creative sources of information that can help inform and implement our strategic business plans. Develop and lead target account development plans and evaluate business conditions requiring teamwork and strategic planning with internal teams. Determine where our therapies can assist in providing a comprehensive healthcare solution and assist in developing an Atrial Fibrillation Program to create key champions for both clinical and administrative buy in. Improve communication between the referring physician community and surgeons for patients with AF, both informally as well as implementing formal communication, e.g. influencing EMR inputs at the point of referral or other account-specific communication tools. Implement screening protocols to identify patients with AF at the point of referral and sharing of best practices and algorithms with other accounts. Create and execute referring and outreach pathways within health systems to convert awareness to adoption inclusive of surgical concomitant ablation and left atrial appendage management.
