First Insurance Agency of Mason City, Iowa is seeking a Human Resources Administrator / Health and Life Insurance Customer Service Representative
Responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day administrative tasks of the agency's human resources department, including maintaining employee records, benefits administration, facilitating onboarding and terminations, recruitment, payroll processing, 401(k) administration, and ensuring compliance with labor laws as required.
Applicant will be assigned customer service responsibilities focused on assisting clients with both group health insurance plans (offered through employers) and individual health insurance policies, providing information on coverage options, benefits, enrollment processes, claims, and addressing concerns clients may have regarding their health insurance plan.
Candidate must possess a strong sense of confidentiality, strong organizational,
analytical and time management skills,
excellent communication skills, attention to detail and follow-up, and a positive attitude and ability to deal with customer issues in a friendly and professional manner.
Applicant must possess current Health and Life Insurance licensesor ability to obtain appropriate licensing as required.
