Town of Mashpee Administrative Secretary in Mashpee, Massachusetts

The Town of Mashpee Town Clerk?s Office welcomes applications for a full time Administrative Secretary; This position works 37.5 hours/week, 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent supplemented by courses in office administration; three years office administration experience; working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience in a municipal setting and in dealing with the public strongly preferred; experience with Laserfiche preferred; MUNIS experience preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, training or experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. Must have excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills. Must have strong computer system skills and the ability to type/word process accurately and rapidly. Must possess a valid MA driver?s license (Class D). Must successfully pass a comprehensive background investigation. Responsibilities: Performs routine office tasks; assists customers in person over the counter and over the telephone; processes mail; reconciles reports; prepares and maintains financial and other records; maintains weekly Board and Committee meeting calendars, agendas and meeting minutes; maintains Town Clerk?s Office webpage on the Town website; performs all other routine office tasks.
