Overview

As a critical member of our team, the CyberSecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide support, analysis, research and assist in the development of a comprehensive security strategy that minimizes and mitigates cyber risks. The CyberSecurity SME will work in an Agile environment and have expert understanding of dev/sec/ops methodologies.

GrammaTech is looking for a CyberSecurity SME to work onsite at a customer location. No clearance necessary.

Location: College Park/Greenbelt, MD

Responsibilities

• Instrumental in the development of a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, with particular emphasis on design reviews, code reviews and other security focused protocol.

• Employ Zero Trust Architecture principles to support the design and development of on-premise and cloud based servers, and endpoints.

• Develop documentation adhering to DOD requirements.

• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies for government cloud servers and services.

• Responsible for conducting regular antivirus and vulnerability scans.

• Monitor and review cybersecurity protocols.

• Perform regular and as needed, updates, fixes and enhancements.

• Perform regular pen-testing and red/blue teaming.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.

• BS degree and minimum 3-5 years of experience in computer science, computer engineer or similar field.

• Experience contributing to agile project development, with focus on the following skills: C, C++, Python, Compiler/LLVM, parallel, embedded and JAVA programming, and reverse engineering.

• Expertise in the following areas: cybersecurity, systems integration, test and evaluation, vulnerability testing and research.

• Experience overseeing red team/blue team security games and analysis.

• Experience developing cybersecurity architecture.

• Familiarity and experience monitoring systems environment for potential vulnerabilities.

• Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. DoD Common Access Card throughout order performance.

The base salary range for this position is $118,000 - $137,000 per year. This range is based on the Company's good faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual salary will take into consideration various factors such as role level, experience, expertise, and education.
