Must adhere to the agency philosophy and mission statement. Develop specific unit treatment goals for each child in conjunction with the treatment team. Attend the treatment team meetings and coordinate care with the members of clients team. Develop specific unit treatment objectives in relation to the overall treatment goals as it relates to discharge plan and return to family, school, and community. Communicate with each client their goals and objectives in conjunction with their treatment plan. Ensure childs needs for special services are addressed with the Treatment Team, Program Manager, and the Clinical Program Director. Develop uniform, quality group experiences within the residential program. Observe children to detect indication of problems in physical and mental behavior. Coordinate transportation of children to appointments with transporter. Participate in weekly Treatment meetings. Represent the unity in all appropriate meetings as basic treatment goals are developed with the client, family, referring agencies and campus staff in order to re-evaluate, revise, and/or update during the clients time in residential care. Assist in the establishment of individual crisis plans for each client in their unity with documented plan made available to all treatment team staff within ten days of admission. Collect, organize, and analyze information about clients through records, interviews, and professional resources to evaluate their interests, aptitudes, and personality characteristics for vocational and educational planning. Be accessible to clients in crisis. Represent the cottage in all appropriate meetings as basic treatment goals are developed with the client and family referring agencies. Oversee cottage group and staff activities. Responsible for conducting search and introduction into residential programming during admission. Attending team meetings to keep staff appraised of work with individual cases. Understand the cultural diversity of clients and team members to better serve the clients. Ability to develop mutually respectful relationships with clients and their families. Ability to appropriately intervene to meet the needs of the clients and their families and to help clients and their family members gain the skills and confidence to address issues and problems as they take place. Ability to work as a partner with other team members. Provide monthly supervision to direct care staff. Responsible for completion of IRIS reports. Responsible for completing and ensuring compliance of shift schedule.
