LOCATION: Marquette County

POSITION TITLE: Senior Accountant

POSITION HOURS: 80 hours biweekly / Regular Full-time

Non Union / Exempt

SALARY RANGE: $30.11/hr - $39.89/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer this position works independently and performs such tasks as: accounting to analyze financial information, prepare financial reports, preparation of cost settlements, and audit documentation. Supervisory responsibilities include; making hire recommendations, approving leave, reviewing and evaluating performance, job counseling employees, training, organizing service delivery, assuring adherence to reimbursement standards, establishing practices that conform to regulatory standards.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field is required, along with three years of administrative experience with emphasis in finance, accounting or budgeting and one to two years related experience in accounting and/or governmental accounting. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred. Mental Health experience preferred.
