Brief Statement of Duties

Brief Statement of Duties:

Provide supervisory leadership for approximately 40 students to maintain the day-to-day operations of six computer/studio labs, a green screen lighting studio, and digital equipment for areas of digital cinema, photography, electronic art, and graphic design. Provide additional support for the 3D areas of woodworking, metalsmithing, ceramics, human-centered design and in 2D areas of illustration, painting, and printmaking

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Discipline / Degree Area:

Computer Science/IT/Fine Arts/Digital Arts

Required Specialized Training/Certifications:

 

Required Minimum Work Experience:

Experience maintaining a computer facility including server and software upgrades. Previous supervisory work experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties:

Mac OS X fluency: software installation, system configuration, security, troubleshooting. Basic understanding of computer networking. Basic computer hardware maintenance: installation of RAM, PCI cards, hard drives, optical drives, and peripherals; cabling, cleaning, basic troubleshooting.
