Description
We are in search of a proficient General Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will take charge of managing the daily operations of a small manufacturing plant, encompassing areas such as Engineering, Production, Logistics, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Sales.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring smooth running and efficiency
• Manage multiple departments including Engineering, Production, Logistics, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Sales
• Implement and manage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions such as Epicor for efficient operations
• Drive change management initiatives to improve processes and bring in new ideas
• Handle Supply Chain Management to ensure timely production and delivery of products
• Oversee the warehouse management to ensure efficient storage and dispatch of products
• Manage procurement processes to ensure the availability of necessary resources for production
• Leverage your experience in metal fabrication in managing production processes
• Implement strategies for customer service management to ensure customer satisfaction
• Drive sales efforts and strategies to boost revenue.
Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role such as Operations Management or Supply Chain Management.
• Proven knowledge and experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) including Epicor and other ERP solutions.
• Demonstrated skills in Supply Chain Management, including procurement and warehouse management.
• Previous experience in Change Management, with the ability to implement and drive change within an organization.
• Strong understanding of Warehouse Management, including the implementation and management of warehouse management systems.
• Experience with Procurement processes and strategies, including vendor management and contract negotiation.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and achieve operational goals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
