ENTRUST Solutions Group Underground Transmission Line Engineer in Marlborough, Massachusetts

Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Detailed engineering design and project management of transmission (69kV - 500kV), sub-transmission (23kV- 34.5kV) and distribution line projects

  • Engage in various projects including entire new facilities, major additions, rehabilitation, replacement, clearance and lightning improvements, and reconductoring of existing underground lines

  • Determines and documents project estimate, scope and schedule; sets and evaluates design options and criteria for technical merit; conducts field visits, verifies and inspects electrical line assets, equipment parameters and identifies applicable codes and system specification requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university

  • Professional Engineer license

  • 15+ years’ experience relative to underground transmission line, sub-transmission, and distribution engineering within the utilities industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience

Benefits & Salary:

  • This position pays between $110,000 and $150,000 annually and is an exempt position.

  • Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.

  • Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.

  • May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
