Basic Job Functions:

The Lead Electrician will be responsible, but not limited to, overseeing the electrical maintenance of area operations and all related equipment. They will support, train, and mentor the electrical team in projects and preventive/predictive maintenance. The successful candidate will actively find ways to improve Safety, Quality, Costs, Development and Production with the team. The candidate should possess the ability to be mobile, as possibilities present themselves, and should have the ability to promote past the current position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience working in industrial electrical maintenance

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Leadership Experience/Lead Level or Above

• Experience working in steel industry

• 2-year degree in electrical or related field

• Motors, motor controls, and AC drive understanding

• Previous experience leading teams, including conflict resolution, coaching, mentoring, training, and relationship building
