Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will perform work on the phases of budget administration in the systems . You will analyze the costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management for the organization's programs and administrative operations. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets while providing funding justifications for the year. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs. You will develop and formulate a major segment of an installation's budget request for the coming fiscal year. You will prepare a wide variety of reports covering the status of funds, expenses and obligations, as required by higher authority. You will review estimates for compliance with applicable regulations and procedures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing oversight and management of the financial posture of an organization in planning, formulation, evaluation, analysis of budget and cost estimates, budget execution and statistical analysis, control and reporting of obligations and expenditures utilizing financial policies and procedures. GS-9 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing clerical and technical support for accounting, budgeting, and related financial management work and reconciles government accounts. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education The following education can be substituted for experience: GS-11 Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related GS-09 master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
