Job Description:  Maintenance Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Maintain and repair lift trucks, overhead cranes, stamping presses, tool room equipment, decoilers and feeders.
• Mechanical Skills, State and Federal Power Press Safety standards, Electrical experience, Ability to weld.
• Maintain preventative maintenance logs on all equipment, presses, compressors, cradles, feeders, lift trucks and all other equipment pertinent to the profitable operation of the company.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor the maintenance priority list to set daily priorities.
• Maintain an adequate supply of perishable items.
• Maintain a log of lubricants and coolants required.
• Notify Maintenance Team Leader when these items need to be replaced.
• Responsible for pullback inspection and repair as required.
• Responsible for verifying guards are in place on machines.
• Responsible for brake monitor testing at time of set-up, and during
• Maintain equipment as directed by Maintenance Team Leader.
• Repair equipment as direct by Maintenance Team Leader Work on projects as directed by Maintenance Team Leader.
• Maintenance associate must understand the Selective Industries Quality Policy Statement and how it impacts them.

Job Type:

Schedule (Full-time)Monday through Thursday (5:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.)

10-hour shift with the possibility of over-time.

60 day & Annual evaluations: increase depending on performance.

Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour, (pay based in experience). Additional experience in Manufacturing is a plus.
