[The Washington County Treasurer is seeking a highly-motivated individual for the position of Deputy Clerk.]{times="" new="" roman";="" font-weight:="" bold;="" color:="" rgba(55,="" 55,="" 1)"=""}

[Key Responsibilities: ]{times="" new="" roman";="" color:="" rgba(55,="" 55,="" 1);="" text-decoration:="" underline"=""}- Answering the incoming calls, handling routine inquiries and directing calls to appropriate staff.  - Processing real estate and mobile home tax bills, manage direct deposit emails, and handle payment documentation.  - Performing office duties including data entry, filing, and paperwork management using Microsoft Word and Excel.  - Assist with in-person inquiries and transactions at the service counter. - Support the Treasurer's office with additional tasks as needed.

[Qualifications: ]{times="" new="" roman";="" color:="" rgba(55,="" 55,="" 1);="" text-decoration:="" underline"=""}- Experience in banking or accounting is highly preferred. - Strong attention to detail is essential.  - Professional appearance and demeanor. - Experience with managing schedules and calendars. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, is required. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask. - Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently.
