Lockheed Martin C-130J Product Support Engineer - Level 2 in Marietta, Georgia

Description:

You will be the C-130J Product Support Engineer - Level 2 on the C-130 Field Operations team.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be required to accomplish in-depth analysis on C-130 Fleet Management Systems in support of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company (LM Aero). You will coordinate evaluation of impacts from proposed problem resolutions. You will remain current on all proposed and pending engineering changes for assigned systems and monitor systems performance indicators to identify emerging failure trends. You will coordinate required vendor and engineering support during investigation, fact finding, and resolution/disposition.

Must be able to effectively utilize technical and engineering data to perform problem analysis at the subsystem level. You will support program technical interchange meetings and program plans development relating to problem analysis and disposition and in-house technical support.

Must be a U.S. Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience in project management and/or project plan development (i.e. managing deadlines, cost, schedule, cross-functional partnerships)

- Demonstrated experience with hosting presentations and/or ability to interface and address complex issues and solutions with senior leadership and customer stakeholders

- Demonstrated experience in aviation, Aerospace and Defense industry, or military logistics

Desired Skills:

- Program/Project management experience, including planning and executing technical efforts, schedules, metrics and budgets

- Demonstrated ability to drive issues to resolution, which will involve direct interaction with Senior leadership within Lockheed Martin, Vendor and Customer organizations.

- Communications skills (both written and oral)

- Highly motivated and Strong Organizational Skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
