UL, LLC Business Development Manager in Marietta, Georgia

  • This is a Hybrid position requiring 3 days/week in a UL Solutions office.

  • Research and identify potential clients and markets within the circular economy sector Develop a comprehensive understanding of client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their sustainability goals and challenges and provide tailored solutions to address their needs.

  • Create and implement effective strategies to drive business growth. Collaborate with the management team to develop sales targets, marketing plans, and pricing strategies.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, consultants, and technical experts, to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceed client expectations.

  • Keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in the circular economy sector. Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to expand knowledge and identify potential business opportunities.

  • Track and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities. Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending strategies for improvement.

  • Total Rewards: The salary range for this position is $110,000. - $120,000. and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position.

  • All employees at UL Solutions are eligible for annual bonus compensation. The target for this position is 20% of the base salary offered. Employees are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental & financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country, for the relevant position level.

  • We also provide employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sustainability, environmental science, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the sustainability or circular economy sector.

  • Strong understanding of circular economy principles and sustainability practices.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
