Andretti Indoor Karting & Games Accounting Assistant in Marietta, Georgia

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join the Team.

Position Overview

The Accounting Assistant is a key member of the Andretti Indoor Karting & Games finance team. It’s a full time, salaried role, based at the Marietta Corporate support center.

They will be responsible for involvement in cash receipts process, as well as working with staff accountants and supporting Senior Management at the AIKG accounting office.

The AR function at AIKG generally includes receiving sales files, copying data over to premade excel templates, and uploading the cash receipts files into MS D365 Business Central.

All positions are responsible for following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality, professionalism and guest satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Cash Receipts Data Entry 

  • Download files from CE/Email into Dropbox.

  • Prepare and post DCR Journal Entries.

  • Match deposits in bank to deposit transmitted from CE/POS.

  • Book payments in D365.

  • Prepare DCR files for audit.

  • Receive response from store and file the dispute response.

  • Enter side deposits and deposit corrections in bank rec screen for DCR stores.

  • Reconcile checks deposited weekly.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving cash discrepancies with operations.

  • Balance Cash Clearing at end of month.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required:

  • Eligible to work in the United States

  • At least 18 years of age

  • High School Diploma

  • Basic excel skills

  • Basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, and data entry and analysis

  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, a reliable problem solver and self-starter

    Preferred:

  • Experience with Microsoft D365 Business Central

  • Experience with data entry.
